Antibacterial Features of DEODORANT STICKER
The silver particles kneaded into the film suppress the growth of bacteria that come into contact with DEODORANT STICKER.
*This antibacterial effect only occurs on DEODORANT STICKER itself, and does not extend to separate sites.

Silver has been used for tableware since the middle ages, when it was realized that water stored in silver vessels does not go bad.
Silver can impart an antibacterial effect even at blend rates of only a few percent.

The positive silver ions suppress the proliferation of bacteria that adhere to labels and tape.

In moisture-rich environments, the silver contained in the film gradually dissolves.
The silver dissolved in the water forms positive silver ions which are attracted to the negatively charged surfaces of bacteria and penetrate inside the cells. Once inside the bacterial cells, the silver ions combine with oxygen disrupting their metabolic pathways and preventing cell growth.
* Silver may change color, but this does not affect its antibacterial properties.
